I am from China,there is a mod called veyrcd,I don't kown you have heard it or not.
The verycd mod team created a new version that can make lowid2lowid possibly.It is testing by some Chinese.I wondered whether it is a new function.Is it only in the verycd mod?

The mod you mention is known here. We don't support it, because of it's bad features. Bad meaning, that this mod does not work within the boundaries set by the originale eMule developers. There is another mod which has a feature like this, it's called Neomule, the feature is NAT-Traversal, if I recall correctly. You can get it here.

the moder called dash said that the feature was not NAT-Traversal,it has not been appeared in the other mods.it is created by the verycd mod team.
the verycd mod can make lowID2lowID possible without highid.the lowid can link to another lowid through udp,the servers just help them to open the port,then the lowid can download from each other.SO the burden of servers will not be heavier than before.my englis is poor,i can not express the details clearly,i am sorry.

Sounds still like NAT-Traversal to me. Despite what the feature might be called by the modder, the idea should be the same. There just aren't that much possibilities to solve the problem, read this for more detailed background information.

what you said might be wrong,the verycd mod team have created the new feature that you have never heard.It is not same as neomule,if you don't believe it, you can test it.You can download from here:*****.
some people have tested it,they say it is a very successful mod,if someone don't think lowid2lowid is possible,they have been backward.

What's with the advertising all of a sudden? I never said such a feature wasn't possible, I even pointed you in the direction of a working example. I also did not accuse the verycd modders of copying the feature from Neomule, honestly I don't even care. I assumed the feature was based on the technique explained in the link I posted, interpreting the few facts you presented. Neomule uses this technique and the "new" feature will be too, I'm sure of that. There are just not that many possibilities of accomplishing lowid2lowid connections. Maybe you should read the article again. ;)

And as my colleague mav744 already pointed out, there will be no links to verycd whatsoever, it's still a leecher mod, despite of any nice features it might have.

I am a user of xtreme mod,I don't like the verycd mod either,but I don't think it is a leecher mod.Another mod called Vagaa is a real leecher mod,and it is imitated verycd mod.In China,there are too many people are using the verycd mod,If it is a leecher mod,I can't download anything.I am using xtreme mod just because it can ban the vagaa mod.However,the verycd mod can't ban it.
OK,i will not talk anything about the verycd mod,the common Chinese users can make their choices.
