It may crash...but if you have the crash dump maybe you can help the developer!

Joseph334 7. July 2010 08:24

No application is 100% stable - there may be bugs that aren't detected, yet or didn't occur, yet.

Xtreme, as far as I know, has 1 or 2 known bugs which might cause it to crash (and which will be solved soon). It's also possible that it doesn't run on your system at all (crash on startup) because it needs your system to be >= WindowXP and up2date with the latest patches from M$ IIRC.

Stulle 7. July 2010 14:55

the latter seems not to be the case, actually. i checked it this morning and it works without any other requirements on XP SP3 (installed from CD).

Joseph334 7. July 2010 15:31

I'm With Windows 7 32-bit.

For example:When I used Xtreme in The 7.2 Version - It's never Crashed;the same With versions 6.1 & 7.2;That's What I Mean 100% Stable.Now What With The 8 version - It's Crashed to Somebody;While he Was using It:huh?!

Lots Of Thanks...:clap

Joseph.:whistle

tHe WiZaRd Of DoS 7. July 2010 18:20

Neither 7.2 nor 6.1 was 100% stable - that's simply impossible. I also don't get what you want to achieve with asking such a stupid question.

Joseph334 8. July 2010 09:45

All The Older Versions Of Xtreme,Never Crashed,While I was using them.!

Other Mods,That I tried - Crashed,While i was using them.:i:
I just Want to know & want to be sure, that The New Xtreme version (0.50a - 8) continue The excellent Tradition.:!:

 You are using Xtreme,At All... ?!

Stulle 8. July 2010 09:59

Wrong leg to piss against. Wiz is one of the most acknowledged mod developers in the eMule community. So much rather than asking stupid questions just use it or leave it but don't try to be funny with Wiz because you just can't compete!

Joseph334 8. July 2010 10:59

I'm very Appologized & Want to Thank very much to WIZ & to Stulle.!

O.K.,I'm very very sorry & Want to appologize very much,if I Cause Someone to be angry,or to be Shameful & not Appriciated - That's Was Totally Not What I meant. As far as I see it;This Thread is Closed.:!:

Lots Of Thanks to Wiz & to Stulle,That I much appreciated & I really think Stulle is The Best Moder in The World.!:

just make a clean install and try again. for the time being, here is a list of known bugs:

Crash when trying change upload speed from systray/taskbar. a mistake, it should be fixed when i have some time.

Crash when viewing shared files details. official bug. Solution: disable auto archive preview.

Unstable when disk is busy, eg. 5MB/s upload. uncertainly, i think it should be the problem of the synchronization of read block from disk thread. but i don't have the condition to test.
