well, i never had to disconnect prior to any hashing using scarangel/ mephisto which uses just the same hashing algorithm... i am not saying there is certainly no bug but i think this is no pressing...

800 GB and 25k files is by far too much! reduce the number of files a lot! more than 5k is insane and i would not recommend anybody to share more than 3k files. the data should also not exceed more...
