eMule 0.29c [bloodymad 0.4.1] [22.07.2003]

Zitat:

Quick feature overview
New: Upgrade to base version 0.29c
It's now based on the eMule 0.29c, so all the new features and bugfixes are included

One-Queue-Per-File
Fair chances for rare files

Reserved release slots
Give some of your slots exclusively to release files.

New: New Chunk selection algorithm
The mod chooses the chunks that should be downloaded more wisely

Estimated queuing time
For clients in the upload queue a estimated waiting time is calculated.

Auto-nick-naming
Don't be annoyed by thousands of http://emule-project.net/ clients.

Mod Version Identification
Lots of other mods names are recognized [roughly like LSD]

No disconnect at chunk borders [by VQB]
The uploads are now limited by transfered data, not chunk borders

Pushing of small and big files, adjusted auto priority
The upload auto priority now gives higher priority to more requested files.

Coutermessures against two leeching mods
Downscoring of clients that use a former popular german community leeching mod.
[by Vorlost]
Users of this new mod with "Tell the world" get banned.

Minor changes
New: Hybrid version bug fixed
New: Sharezza recognized
New: The chunk bar will be dark blue for about 100 sources

More explanations here.

Things you really should know before you use it:
The banning of this new leeching mod hasn't been tested because I couldn't find someone who used it. So it may or may not work. If it doesn't work you can deactivate it in the preferences.

"Try to upload full chunks" is required by the mod. The mod will enable this if you haven't already done so.

The old "Release" priority is now called "Very high". The new "Release" is something special.
Files:
Binary: website or edonkey

Sources: website or edonkey

More things you maybe would like to know:
More about the features. A longer description of all the features is included in the release zips or can be read online. You should look at this to learn more about the new and old features.

löl! manche wollen wirklich nur dat beste was ??? sei lieber zufrieden
emule ist kein kazaa

DQA321 23. July 2003 15:54

10 h 350 MB ? looool da wären so Manche froh drüber ! zumal wenn Du die clients.met neu machen musstest *kopfschüttel*

Xman 23. July 2003 15:59

DQA321,

Naja.. Morgen mehr !!

Xman 23. July 2003 20:59

DQA321,
gib Dir in allem was Du schreibst zu 100% recht.

When switching to secure user identification all old, "unsecured" credits will be lost. For security reasons, there is now way to transfer these credits to the secure system.", aus der offiziellen eMule FAQ).

So ganz unrecht
hat DQA321 damit nicht. Also nur ein bischen schwanger :D

Xman 23. July 2003 23:32

blomy,
:?:
