it's the anti-nick-thief! IMHO it's like an unique identification created by xtreme mod....

Anti-Nick-Thief has been invented by WiZaRd and was already implemented in the old iONiX-Mod. Xtreme is just using it like many other mods do.

Thankful friends...

Any plans for English forum support soon (outside of this thread)? Using Babel Fish all the time is tedious!

Problems uploading

I think this program should be better for the people who want spread some files, I can't understand why is too complicate upload some new files, I have right now two files in powerRelease and only can upload one out of seven from the files I'm powerReleasing, I'm seeing how are people downloading with low ID and others files which I have in very low upload, sorry but I cant understand why. Is too difficult upload in this way. I just wanted to say my opinion about that problem which I think is crucial for the emule future, I can't spend one month for release a file.
I only wanted to express my opinion about this, thanks.

@adamlau
you can also have a look at the second Xtreme-support-forum:
Official eMule-Board -> Xtreme MOD

@scarecrown
powerrelease-files already get a very high boost. But it can happen that it takes a while until the clients which want your files find you. Also make sure that you didn´t enable multiqueue, because this option always tries to spread the upload over all files.

You can set the forum language to English (see attached screenshot) for easier navigation. The control resides at the bottom left corner of every page.

xtreme bans xtreme?

hello m8s. :dance

im using xtreme 5.3.1 since a couple of days ago and i noticed something strange in the logs:

Code:

26-10-2006 7:04:53: Clients: **** Invisible Men **** [d!2z] «Xtreme 5.3.1» (*****), Banreason: Userhash changed
26-10-2006 7:04:53: Banned: Aggressive behaviour; ***** '**** Invisible Men **** [d!2z] «Xtreme 5.3.1»' (eMule v0.47c [Xtreme 5.3.1],OnQueue/OnUploadQueue/None)

ok, one dewd's already hacking xtreme into making it a leecher mod...

however today it appeared again, different user from different IP range:

Code:

27-10-2006 3:52:54: Clients: http://xtreme-mod.net [d dG] «Xtreme 5.3.1» (*****), Banreason: Userhash changed
27-10-2006 3:52:54: Banned: Aggressive behaviour; ***** 'http://xtreme-mod.net [d dG] «Xtreme 5.3.1»' (eMule v0.47c [Xtreme 5.3.1],None/None/None)

is this normal? what can causing this?

thx for your help :beer:

Hi! Here's a feature request: being able to exclude files from the share. There's a number of files in my shared folders that have no reason for being shared. (And yes, they have to be in those folders...) eMulePlus have this feature, right-clicking on a file in the shared files list and setting upload priority to hidden or something like that. If I remember correctly I've also seen something like a configurable filter with masks to exclude, and I guess that works in many situations too, although not so well for my needs.

Xman 27. October 2006 22:37

I don#t like this idea .. especially with the filters.
why you don´t remove the files you don´t want to share from the folder ?
I think you have a much better overview what´s beeing shared when a whole folder is shared and not only some special files.

Normally the newest version is the "better" one because it based on newer original version and has new features and a lot of bugfixes ... try it of yourself. :-)
