Mavmule is the first mod which supports connecting throug a PROXY server

Mavmule is based on "eMule 24b Plus 3". It has implemented all its features.

Features:

PROXY suport
With Mavmule you can now connect to the network by using a PROXY server. Currently it supports SOCKS4, SOCKS4a, SOCKS 5 and HTTP11. Note that when you are connecting to the network by using a PROXY you WILL receive a LowID. It's currently not possible to receive a HighID. This makes it a bit complicated to connect to a server so please be patience.

Mavmule also supports the PROXY connection currently only for the eDonkey protocol and NOT for UDP, IRC, Server-Met download and the Webserver. All these features exept the Webserver are planned for future releases.

UL\DL List Extended
Your own UL/DL Ratio and Rating that you (should) have at the other client is now displayed in the download list.
It may differs from the real value due to crashes, deleting of the client-met and some other reasons.

Added MLDonkey to the statistic

MLDonkey Emulation
MLDonkey is very unfair against eMule users. It allows only one third of the uploadqueue to be
occupied by eMule clients. Additionally it favourises MLDonkey by giving them always a slot. mad.gif

In drder not to have this disadvantage MavMule emulates a MLDonkey client when he connects
to an MLDonkey client. laugh.gif

Extended Download Information
MavMule displays some additional information about your state on the other computers:


* UL/DL Modifier
* Total Ratio
* Community
* Score


In order to make this information more accurate it sends this data to the other together
with the ranking packet. When it dosn't receive this data it calculates them from the own
data.

@DEV's It's highly recommended to merge this feature into all mods in order to spread this informations among all clients

If there is anyone good at designing icons than I would really appreciate to having some to add for the MLDonkey clients and the PROXY menu.

Hat schon einer diesen Mod ausprobiert?
Bei mir schmiert der immer ab (W2K) mit der Fehlermeldung:
Die Datei DBGhelp.dll sei nicht aktuell... zusätzlich ein Verweis auf
HTTP://emuleplus.dyndns.ws/faq
Auf der Seite bekommt man nen Update der Datei.
Leider schmiert der Mod auch danach noch ab.
Weiss einer ne Lösung?

auf ne neue version warten wäre mein tipp, einige probs kommen vom plus mod, die meisten wurden mit version 3a behoben...

alternativ, könntest du ja auch mal posten was genau das problem ist... hast du die dbghelp.dll ins emule verzeichnis kopiert/entpackt?

Da die Datei DBGHELP.dll eine Windows-System-Datei ist hab ich die Datei im "System32"-Ordner gefunden und ersetzt. Danach Reboot, hat aber nichts gebracht wie gesagt, Fehlermeldung bleibt gleich (Datei zu alt).

Ich meine aber irgendwo gelesen zu haben, dass man sie ins eMule-Verzeichnis kopieren soll. Ob das jetzt aber einen Unterschied macht, keine Ahnung, probieren, würd ich sagen.

bringt nix, würde ich sagen... hatte auch mit einer plus beta das problem, obwohl ich genau die vom emule plus team empfohlene version "installiert" hatte. es liegt also an emule plus... wie gesagt am besten warten bis mavmule auf emule plus 3a (oder neuer) aufbaut, damit sollte das problem geschichte sein... wenn du was ähnliches suchst, würde ich emule plus 3a empfehlen, das hat schon einige sachen vom mavmule mit drin und ist recht stabil...

Die Plus 3a hab ich doch schon längst ausprobiert.
Ich warte immer ungeduldig auf den nächsten Thread update damit ich was zum probieren habe.
