Hi, first of all this mod is amazing, thanks
The only think I can't get to work is random ports with upnp enabled.
Emule works great, don't worry, but the ports opened everytime are always the same.
Tried also with a fresh install, but even with the two options for upnp and random ports checked emule opens the ports specified in the connection window.
Edited preferences.ini too, cleaning TCP e UDP port and leaving random enabled: it starts random ok, but when I restart emule the ports are again the last used O_o


Suggestions?

the UPNP only uses random ports if your specified ports are already used by an other application and therefore can´t be opened.
I know, the label of this option isn´t clear enough, but the description at Xtreme-homepage is.

You're right, I'm reading it just now ^^ and it says that very clearly

In "feature requests" topic I don't see english requests, I'd like to see emule extreme using different random ports everytime it starts. Can I ask here?

yes you can ask... but there is not one good reason to use different ports on every restart. What should this be good for ?
If you know that your provider blocks ports e.g. 4000- 6000 and you use random ports, you have good chances that emule would choose such a port.
If you know that ports e.g. 800 - 900 are working well, just use them.

i have 3 questions ,

is it possible to connect a server otomaticly when i open extreme mod.because sometimes server is becoming dead so i need a self connecting solution.

second question is mod started to choose passive sources al heads on left are red if there are 100 sources 40 of them are red !how can i put my self in queu ?

third question is cant i use my internet connection while i am connected to emule,for exp its not posibble to search something on google.its so slow!

There is the option "Autoconnect on startup" at the connection settings. Ist the used server dead eMule apply another server after few seconds.

After startup all sources has to reask immediatly. Therefor the status of many sources are "Too many connections" with a red icon on the left side of the sources (the value you can see at the statistictree). With the value of "max. new connections / 5sec" (extended settings) you can influence how fast the too many connections decrease. Without router you can set this value on 50.

The most reason for this is that the uploadlimit is set too high or you have too much sources (and maybe therefore too many connections).

The title says it all. I set upload limit to 6KB/sec, but oddly I am uploading usually arouind 18KB/sec. This is both in the global upload speed setting and in the preferred limit (i guess?) speed setting. The slot speed is set to about 2KB/sec. So I have 3 uploads going and each one is uploading 6 KB/sec. This is against the setting i have made. Can you help me understand and fix this?

I am new to emule, what I am tryiing to do is I want to have my incoming folder and my temp folder put on my network drive, the problem I have is my temp folder. when I set it all up and restart emule I get a warning at the bottom of the screen and it says
warning //networkdrive/filename/008.part.met
and emule won't respond I have to delete emule and reinstall all over again.

Hi! I was wondering on when you drop the non-need parts and qued-full from different files, why are they the first ones to show up again? Is there a way when you drop them - they will actually go away and not come back for other people have a chance to help download!

if you drop NNP and FullQueue client from a file, emule first tries to swap them to an other file, because this sources can be good sources for other files.

In the options menu in the directors you hane incoming files and temporary files when I change it to my network drive I get a warning at the bottem left hand corner of the screen it somthing like this

warning \\desktop\filemame\008.part.met

and that is part of the dowload that is in the temorary folder of emule

look at the screenshots, srceenshot2 is where the warning was . I will try to get you the screenshot or the right warning.
