I've got may be a stupid question - why Servers "Donkey Server No..." with IP's 62.241.53.* work fine, but "Donkey Server No..." with IP's 72.51.37.* and some others are greyed out?

The greyed out servers are filtered by the IP-filter for your protection, because they are not what they seem to be. ;)

Anyway I asked, because I thought, why are there so many users, connected to those servers, if they are not what they seem to be.

The number of users connected to a server is given by the server itself, not measured objectively. Therefore this value is also not what it seems to be -> fake servers.

Dear XMAN!!! This is my first message on this forum about eMule-eXtreme!
This Mod is a very great program, but the size for file-buffer(1.5 mb) for hashing files is very small.
My hard drive allways scratching while the eMule-eXtreme completing the files!!!
Look at Ackronic mod or Magic Angel mod. Ackronic has a 10mb of allocated memory and Magic Angel has 20mb memory and hard drive do not scratching no more!!! Could YOU increase file buffer size up to 20mb or more? It would be so great!!!
And yet... eXtreme shows only country flag, but Magic Angel and MorphXT displaying full country name and it looks so COOOOL!!! It's so beautyfull!!! Will YOU add such feature too?!
Well i think that's all i wanted to say. eXcuse me for my wishes!!! May be comrade XMAN will little think about them.

increasing the filebuffersize is a very bad idea... I already wrote the reasons on many places... maybe a search brings more information (also look at Official eMule-Board -> Xtreme MOD)

I don´t like to display the whole country name, because it uses too much space at the screen and doesn´t provide more information than a simple icon.

So why increasing filebuffersize is a bad Idea?
What is The Reason? Could you describe a bit?

Sorry, but i think if you could add this feature users can choose at once mind if they want to see whole country name or not. It wount spoil eXtreme!

Sorry to bother YOU again, but it looks so wonderfull to see from what country the user is!!! I suggest you just add it to the emule. Let emule shows country name! Please!

Why Ackronic mod using 10mb of filebuffer do not crash?
Magic Angel uses 20!!!! mb of filesizebuffer and no problem! I wonder why eXtreme can not be powered?

Confusing! i found a name as mine appeared!
 

when i attempted to download a file , i found a name as mine appeared in the users' lines! But actually that was not me, he was in italy(maybe not),but my nation flag doesn't appear as an Italy flag... and the icon before the flag is a computer icon in red...i don't know the meaning of it..can anyone explain to me ??? :sb

It's a nickthief-leecher. The icon is red because of the reduced score. You may check the leecherlog.

Xtreme MOD download limit 40 KB/s only

Well, I want to know if the Xtreme MOD can download more than 40.0 KB/s and how can I configure the Xtreme MOD to download more than 40.0 KB/s. I try to search in google for "xtreme mod download limit" but found nothing. The old fashion/original eMule can be set to download with unlimited speeds when upload speed is 10.0 or more, but Xtreme MOD doesn't do the same!!!

Can someone help me? I really need to download with more speed... 40.0 KB/s is too low!!!!

because Xtreme uses different overhead calculation you must set your upload to at least 11 kb/s to get unlimited download.

EDIT: Another question: which chunck method is better, default Maella ou ZZ? Whats is the "Always one release-slot" option?

I always use the Maella one.. but it´s up to you.. try it out.
Always one release-slot: when you enable this option there is always one uploadslot reserved for file with release or power-release upload priority.

I think option "Always one release slot" is is is is very good idea for upload a powerrelease "dvd-film,...." when u hasnt much persons in cue "these dvd"
Im Uploader from a Spanish group "xxxxx",and i think too good idea
if i have 1024/320 dsl,to can upload slot more 10-15 kb to my group friends for when we going to release these dvd-film,we can upload more fast cause we are 4 completed source..
(Upload 4,3gb with slot "3-6kb" too wait,no good)

sorry for my bad english and congratulations for these mod.

After importing the last IPFilter.dat, Xtreme MOD automatic block the connection with many many servers (became gray and say that I can't connect to filtered IPs). I used to have more than 150 servers in my list, now I have only 50.

I already download server.met from:
server.met - Server List for eDonkey and eMule
TDN - TheDonkeyNetwork | Σ(UL)=Σ(DL)

Did someone know more nices and secures server to download??

believe me... 50 servers are more than enough. It would be even enough to have 10 big servers and you´ll find all available sources.

I just installed eMule 0.47c Xtreme, but each time i'm getting lowID error althoug normal eMule was connecting fine , here's log :

So what should i do ?!

If you use a router then set a portforwarding there to the correct Lan-IP and used eMule-ports.
If you use a firewall than open the used eMule-ports.

I Did both, and as I mentioned that eMule work fine but eMule Xtreme don't connect at all !

Then check it ... maybe at your eMule setting you use other ports ... (if you install eMule new)

if you are using a firewall like the XP build in firewall.. then delete emule from the list of applications which are allowed to connect to internet... after that restart emule and reasign the permission.

This happens when I have no active downloads at all!

Upon an crash of eMule (or the whole system) it can happen, that some part- or part.met-file is corrupted. It stays in the temp folder, but its not displayed in the Transfer window.

If you're not having any downloads running, you should just remove all files in the temp folder since they all must belong to dead downloads.

Inside the Transferwindow the last action that was done is shown to you.
Take a look at your "Log" under the Button "Server" and check out at what Time and Date that Action was done.
Maybe it is just an older generated Information.
But I am not sure at all if this is a kind of possibility, sorry.

And no filtering of my transfer window.
I was afraid of some p2p virus or something along those lines.
But from your replys it does not look like this could be the case.
I'll sniff some traffic from it and se if anything strange/unwanted is happening.

The area covered on bars for uploaded parts for both 37.09 MB and 1.43 MB (Mo is french)
are the same although there's quite a difference! ;)

I don't see a bug.. the value you pointed, is your complete uploaded data from all your files/emule-sessions to this client.

it's impossible to have 128 KB uploaded (green box)
and the corresponding upload graph bar (a 600 MB file).

There's a little problem somewhere...

why it should be impossible that you only uploaded 128 kb to this client ?
There can't be a bug.. because what you see is the value of the clients credits... if there wouzld be a bug the whole creditssystem woudln't work correctly.

For sure, there's somerthing I don't get!

it's the same value official emule displays at client details... but be careful.. at clientdetails upload/download is exchanged because of an other point of few.

Why emule xtreme is trying to do a POP3 connection?
 

My eMule 0.47c Xtreme 5.4 is trying to do a POP3 connection to 84.112.72.224:110. The connection did not succeed, but why it happens?

Because eMule use accidentaly selected Ports. Thats against the Port blocking from some Providers.

Your Xtreme is using the standart email communication port, for example. There is no problem!
